Túlio Cerquize

[Rio de Janeiro, 1988] is a graphic designer and illustrator graduated in Visual Communication Design by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. His career started in 2011 as an intern of Record Publishing Group making book covers, and have worked for all sorts of writers as Neil Gaiman, Henry Miller, Terry Pratchet, Alice Walker, Kurt Vonnegut, Mario Puzo, Ayòbámi Adébáyò, Herman Melville, David Levithan, Colson Whitehead, Nora Roberts for many national publishing houses and international as well, like Harper Collins branch in Brazil.

He have projects selected for the catalogue of ADG Brasil biennial [Brazilian Association of Graphic Designers] and received the silver trophy from Latin American Design Awards in the editorial design category. Recently, also won a Certificate of Typographic Excellence from Type Director’s Club, having his work in an itinerant exihibition around the world.

Currently he lives in São Paulo and believes that design and art can be powerful tools of expression and social transformation.
